Shop Update

For those of you who did not attend the General Members meeting, Scott Donkers informed us shop procedures have changed over the summer.  As a result monitors will need  refresher training to know the new stuff.  It sounds like some things, like the computer, have been simplified.  Other things like checking out tools to work on your car have also been improved.  When members check in to work on their vehicles they can check out a mobile tool chest to use.  When they finish, the tool chest will be turned in and checked to see all of the tools are accounted for.  This is just a sample of the new stuff (I haven’t had the refresher yet!) so we need to sign up for the training asap.

Spring Fling Car Show

Now is the time to register for the March 2020 car show and get the early registration discount!!  As you all know this show is our big fund raiser for the year.  In support of the club it would be a nice gesture if all of our members would register for the show.  This can be done online by going to the Spring Fling Car show page of the website, or at the shop and during membership meetings.  It has been suggested that every member of the club should register for the show whether they have a car to enter or not.

If you want to help with the show, please volunteer.  Contact Alan Lund or Joe Warfel, the show’s co-directors to find out how you can help.  We really do need volunteers now to get the show ready for March.
